Refund & Returns Policy

Every Solar Archive print is made to order by our fulfilment partner Printify when you place it. Because there’s no inventory and the product is unique to your customisation, this policy follows the Printify-standard print-on-demand approach: no refunds for change of mind, but defective and damaged items are replaced or refunded.
What qualifies for a refund or replacement
- Defective items — manufacturing defects, misprinted designs, wrong size or colour vs. what you ordered, anything inconsistent with the mockup we showed at checkout.
- Carrier damage — visible damage in transit (please photograph the package as received).
- Non-delivery — if tracking shows the package is lost or stuck for more than 30 days past expected delivery, we’ll work with the carrier and replace or refund.
What does NOT qualify
- Change of mind, buyer’s remorse, “I picked the wrong vibe”.
- Customer-side address mistakes (we ship to the address you provide at checkout).
- Slight colour variation between your screen and the printed product (printed colour gamut is narrower than RGB displays).
- Returns to a domestic forwarder when you live abroad.
- Late delivery solely due to carrier delays, customs holds, or weather events outside our control.
How to file a claim
- Email gillygumption@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery with: your order number, a clear photo of the defect or damage, and a brief description.
- We’ll respond within 5 business days with a decision and (if approved) instructions for replacement or refund.
- You do not need to ship the original item back unless we specifically ask.
Refund timing
- Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Shopify within 3 business days of approval.
- Your bank or card issuer may take an additional 5–10 business days to reflect the refund.
- Approved replacements ship on the standard Printify timeline (2–7 business days production + carrier time).
Cancellations
Because production begins shortly after checkout, we cannot guarantee cancellation. Email us immediately at gillygumption@gmail.com with your order number; we’ll cancel if Printify has not yet begun production.
EU + UK statutory rights
Customers in the European Union and United Kingdom have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Rights Directive / Consumer Contracts Regulations. However, the statutory exception for made-to-order goods applies to Solar Archive prints — they are produced uniquely for you after you place the order — and therefore the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply. This does not affect your statutory rights regarding defective products.
